LIAM LOANED TO TRANMERE

28 September 2013

Ridehalgh joins Rovers for 93 days

Huddersfield Town defender Liam Ridehalgh has today joined Sky Bet League 1 club Tranmere Rovers on a 93 day emergency loan.

The 22 year-old left back has moved to Prenton Park until 29 December inclusive and trained with Ronnie Moore’s side on Friday ahead of their game at home to Port Vale today.

This is the fifth loan spell of Academy graduate Ridehalgh’s career, who has previously gained First Team experience in Leagues 1 and 2 at Swindon Town, Chesterfield and Rotherham.

He has now played 95 competitive games in his career, which includes 26 games for the Terriers.

Liam will join his Huddersfield Town loanee Chris Atkinson at Tranmere, who has started all of Rovers’ 12 games in League and Cup competitions so far this season.
