Teenage midfielder heading to Norway in September
Huddersfield Town midfielder Philip Billing has been called up to the Denmark Under-19 squad for an upcoming international tournament in Norway.
The 18 year-old, who joined Town’s Academy from Danish club Esbjerg in 2013 (click

Both games will take place in the Norwegian coastal municipality of Lyngdal, with Philip the only call up from an English club in Coach Bent Christensen Arensoe’s squad.
This is a first international call-up for 6’ 4” tall Philip, who made his senior debut for the Terriers as a second half substitute in the Sky Bet Championship game at home to Leicester City on 26 April 2014.
Philip featured for Town’s First Team during several pre-season friendlies and scored twice in the Under-21’s season opening 4-1 win against Bristol City at PPG Canalside on Monday, highlights of which are below.
If Philip features, he will be Town’s first Danish international at any age level in the Club’s 106 year history.
