Walkers Club of the Week on West Yorkshire Sport
BBC Radio Leeds has chosen Huddersfield Town’s Walking Footballers as their Club of the Week!
Town’s Walking Footballers play at the Zone every week under the guidance and tuition of the Club’s Football in the Community Team.
They recently visited Scarborough to take on a fellow walking team and won 12-10 – click HERE to read the full story.
As part of being ‘Club of the Week’ Huddersfield Town’s Community Manager Rob Day spoke live on Radio Leeds’ West Yorkshire Sport show on Tuesday night.
Rob, along with two of Town’s walking footballers, have also been invited into the Radio Leeds studios where they will be live studio guests throughout tonight’s show (6-7pm) via 92.4FM.
