PLAYERS HELP SPREAD CHRISTMAS CHEER

12 December 2012

Squad visit Hollybank and Huddersfield Royal Infirmary

After training, and before heading off to Tuesday night’s Christmas Carol Concert, the Huddersfield Town First Team dropped in at both Hollybank Trust and Huddersfield Royal Infirmary to visit the residents and patients!

Town players visiting Hollybank Trust met with residents and pupils from the Club’s Charity Partner to spread some early Christmas joy.

The players visited the Trust’s main site in Mirfield and delivered goody bags on behalf of the Club.

Meanwhile the other half of Town’s squad called in at the Children’s Ward at HRI. The group included the likes of Danny Ward, James Vaughan and Jack Hunt who also delivered goody bags to patients in the Ward.

Huddersfield Town Club Ambassador Andy Booth said:

“The players really enjoyed meeting the children at Hollybank Trust and Huddersfield Royal Infirmary and were delighted that they were able to put a smile on the faces of local children at Christmas time.

“The staff at both Hollybank Trust and HRI were brilliant with the players and I would like to thank them on behalf of the Club for allowing us to come and spread some Christmas cheer!”
