Revell Ward event held at the John Smith’s Stadium
Huddersfield Town will once again host this year’s ‘It’s a Knockout’ event run by Club Partner Revell Ward.
The action will take place on Thursday 1 May at the John Smith’s Stadium and this year’s theme is 'Schools out for Summer'. The Club’s charity, the Town Foundation, is this year’s chosen charity and there will be an array of local business owners taking part and contributing to this wonderful cause.
The Huddersfield Town Foundation was created to improve the quality of life for children and young people in our region.
The money donated to the charity from this event will directly benefit a child or young person, as no administration costs are taken from donations and all donations are matched by the charity founder and Huddersfield Town Chairman, Dean Hoyle.
All the money donated stays in the region creating positive influences that are felt throughout entire families and communities.
The Town Foundation’s Corporate Fundraising Officer Mandy Taylor, said:
“To be nominated by Club Partner Revell Ward as the charity of choice for the event proceeds of the third ‘It’s A Knockout’ truly is an honour, and particularly relevant as this year’s theme is school related.
“Our mission is to make a significant difference to the lives of children and young people in our community and any donation made is directed into innovative and unique initiatives including our ‘Early Kick-Off Breakfast Clubs’, which have served over 110,000 healthy and delicious free breakfasts across 14 clubs in Kirklees.”
