Town’s youngsters finish unbeaten in pre-season
Town’s Under-18 side finished unbeaten throughout pre-season thanks to a 3-3 draw at West Bromwich Albion on Saturday morning.
The Baggies were a goal to the good at half-time and soon doubled their advantage, but midfielder Regan Booty reduced the arrears with a free-kick.
West Brom soon restored their two goal lead, but the young Terriers side - which featured Under-16 players on the bench - showed great character to fight back and draw the game 3-3 thanks to another goal from Irish striker Ronan Coughlan and a later strike from first year striker Rekeil Pyke, who has just returned from injury.
Town’s Under-18 Professional Development League 2 season starts on Saturday 16 August – full fixtures will be released on htafc.com on Monday.
