Huddersfield Town’s Under-18s suffered a heavy home defeat in their second outing of the season at the hands of Charlton Athletic.
Tony Carss and Leigh Bromby’s men were playing their first home match of the season at PPG Canalside on Saturday, against a Charlton side that won the South Division of the U18 Professional Development League 2 last season.
After missing an early opportunity through Ronan Coughlan, Town struggled against a slick Charlton side with striker Karlan Ahearne-Grant grabbing a hat trick. Alex Kelly and Ademola Lookman also netted for the Londoners.
