Town’s Under-18 side survived a monumental comeback from visitors Nottingham Forest to secure another three points in an amazing game at PPG Canalside.
Frankie Bunn and Tony Carss’ side raced into a 3-0 first-half lead through strikers from midfielders Ben Holmes, Ben Atkinson and forward Jake Charles.
Forest netted a late first-half penalty, but Town led the game at 4-1 five minutes into the second-half after striker Flo Bojaj netted his first of the game
However, three Forest goals in seven second-half minutes restored parity in the scoreline!
Despite the setback, the Terriers scored two goals without reply to come out on top in a ten goal thriller. First Bojaj netted his second of the game from the penalty spot in the 66th minute before substitute striker Rekeil Pyke put the game to bed with a strike nine minutes from time.
