FIVE 2ND YEAR SCHOLARS OFFERED DEALS

15 April 2014

Contracts offered to Academy players

Five of Huddersfield Town’s second year scholars have been offered their first professional contracts at the Club.

Goalkeeper Sam Guthrie; centre backs Joe Wilkinson and William Boyle; midfielder Ben Holmes and striker Flo Bojaj have been offered their first professional deals at Huddersfield Town and, should they accept, will move into the Club’s Development Squad next season working with Senior Professional Development Coach Steve Eyre.

They will join their Under-18 teammates Jake Charles and Philip Billing, who already have professional contracts, whereas Ben Atkinson – who missed a season through injury – will effectively undertake a third year of his scholarship as part of the Under-21 group.

Two of their second year colleagues were not offered a professional contract and will now leave the Club at the end of the season; defender Mikey Starkey and midfielder Kedesh Goddard.
