105 Town fans joining Boothy from 'Hillsborough to Home'

- 'Boothy's Hillsborough to Home' 23 mile walk on Sunday
- 'Walk for Pounds' back after popular demand
- Raising money for the 'Keep It Up' campaign

Town fans are encouraged to get down to the John Smith's Stadium early on Sunday to cheer home the 105 Town fans taking part in the latest 'Walk for Pounds' fundraising event!

The 23 mile ‘Boothy’s Hillsborough to Home’ walk will begin at Sheffield Wednesday’s Hillsborough Stadium in the early hours of Sunday 16 October and return to the John Smith’s Stadium in time for the noon kick-off at the Huddersfield Town vs Sheffield Wednesday game.

The event, sponsored by Absolute Warehouse Services, is the Club’s fourth sponsored walk in aid of the ‘Keep It Up’ campaign which supports the Yorkshire Air Ambulance charity and the Huddersfield Town Academy.

Alongside Town legend Boothy, the Club's Commercial Director Sean Jarvis and Head of Football Operations Stuart Webber are signed up to take part, with 105 participants in total.

Funds raised by the walkers will go towards maintaining the YAA’s two lifesaving helicopters as well as assisting the Huddersfield Town Academy.

The 105 walkers will embark on a lap of honour around the John Smith's Stadium pitch from 11.30am on Sunday, so please get down early to give them a cheer!
