ESSENTIAL INFORMATION FOR TOWN FANS ON MONDAY

All your travel and match day information

-    Sky Bet Championship Play-Off final on Monday 29 May 2017, 3pm kick-off
-    All your travel and match day information ahead of Huddersfield Town's match
-    Extra security measures in place at Wembley Stadium

Please take 10 minutes to read this guide to help you enjoy Monday as over 38,000 Town fans descend on Wembley Stadium for the Sky Bet Championship Play-Off final!

Due to extra security measures, Huddersfield Town strongly advises all supporters to arrive at the Wembley Stadium turnstiles no later than one hour prior to kick-off. You are also encouraged not bring any bags or unnecessary items with you. Please keep your match ticket on you always in the Wembley area, as you may be asked to show it to security personnel at any time.



Official Coach Travel

All official Club coaches will be departing from the St Andrew’s Car Park at the John Smith’s Stadium promptly at 7.15am.

The coaches will have arrived by 6.30am and we ask that all supporters are on board their coach by 7am.

Your coach number will be on your coach travel ticket; seating on your coach is unreserved.

Please be careful of young children as the coaches will be manoeuvring into position during this time.

Car parking is available all day at both John Smith’s Stadium car parks but vehicles are left at the owner’s risk. There will be no parking available at PPG Canalside on Monday.

There is strictly to be no alcohol to be taken on board the coaches.

The Stadium Superstore will be open from 5.30am to 6.30am for last minute purchases.

All coaches will depart from Wembley one hour after the final whistle or penalties taken.

Coaches will be parked in the Yellow Car Park (below) at Wembley.





Independent Travel to Wembley Stadium connected by EE

The postcode for Wembley Stadium is HA9 0WS. The official car park for coaches, mini-buses and cars is the Yellow Car Park. Blue Badge Holders must also purchase car parking. We advise that you pre-book your car park HERE.

Please note that car parking is very limited and that local road closures will be in place from 11am.

Fans are encouraged to use public transport. Oyster Cards, Contactless Debit/Credit Cards or Day Travel Cards are the best and easiest way to pay for your fare – buses do not accept cash. Please visit www.tfl.gov.uk for more information regarding public transport.

Tickets

You should receive your match tickets directly from Ticketmaster and Coach Travel tickets from the Stadium Ticket Office by post. If you have not received them by Friday’s post then please call 01484 484123 or email tickets2@htafc.com. The Stadium Ticket Office is open for queries only on Saturday 9am to 5pm and Sunday 10am to 4pm.

The corner of the match ticket will be taken off if it is for a concession.

All match tickets will have both Huddersfield Town and Sheffield Wednesday printed on them. This is due to printing before the outcome of the Play-Off semi-finals.

Fans who are collecting their tickets from Wembley can collect their Play-Off final tickets from Wembley West Ticket Office located on Mezzanine Level (B1) from 11am. You must bring your email confirmation with you.



Young Persons’ Wristbands

Wembley Stadium provides ‘Young Visitor Wristbands’ to assist in the event of a lost child. Collect your wristband from any information point; CLICK HERE to read how the wristband scheme works. All Under-16s must be accompanied by an adult.



Social Media

The Club will be using all its social media outlets on Monday (Twitter - @htafcdotcom, Instagram - @htafcdotcom, Snapchat - @htafcsnap and Facebook) all of which can be accessed through the free Town Square app (CLICK HERE to find details how to download it on to your Android or Apple smartphone).

You will get all the team news first, as well as the build-up to the final including images and videos from behind-the-scenes at Wembley. We shall also tweet any traffic and travel information en-route.

Please tweet your images of your day using the hashtag #htafc and we shall re-tweet some of the best ones.



Team Arrival

We expect the team coach to arrive at Wembley Stadium between 1pm and 1.30pm and enter via the Royal Route and in through the West Gate.



Town Merchandise

Huddersfield Town official merchandise will be available from all the Wembley Retail outlets on the day.

This is being sold by Wembley Stadium on behalf of the Club. Please do not buy from the street-traders around Wembley, as the proceeds from any sale do not go to YOUR Club!

Town will be wearing its Yellow and Black Away kit at Wembley.

The Stadium Superstore is open Monday to Saturday 9am till 5pm and on Sunday from 10am till 4pm.

The Packhorse Centre Store is open Monday to Saturday 9am till 5pm.

The Stadium Superstore is also open from 5.30am until 6.30am on Monday.



Fanzone

There is a Fanzone for Huddersfield Town fans at the Events Pad near the Red Car Park. This will be open from 10am till 2pm. Fans will have to show their match ticket to enter the Fanzone.





Gates Open

Entry to Wembley Stadium is open for hospitality at noon and for general admission at 1pm.



Pre-Match build-up

There will be a lot going-on on the pitch pre-match, as well as seeing the Town team warming-up. This includes our own match day announcer Paul ‘Rambo’ Ramsden and the National Anthem sung by Faryl Smith.

1pm        Gates open
1.35pm    Pre-match entertainment including Kids Cup Final
2.10pm    Teams out for players’ warm-up
2.40pm    Players’ warm-up ends
2.53pm    Teams enter the Stadium

There will be a one minute’s silence before kick-off to remember the victims of Manchester’s tragic event earlier this week.



Safety and Security

The safety and security of you, the fans, is paramount especially after the tragic news coming out of Manchester earlier this week. There will be extra security measures in place so please enter the Stadium by 2pm. There will be long queues at the turnstiles.

There will be bag searches and random pat downs – please do not be offended if you are asked to be searched.

Alcohol is served inside the Stadium but strict limits are enforced on the amount of alcohol served to each person.

Stewards will be enforcing the Ground Regulations and that includes the ‘no standing’ policy once you are in your seats during the game.

At no stage before, during or after the match are supporters allowed beyond the pitch perimeter and on to the pitch.



Flags and Banners

All flags sold in Huddersfield Town outlets will be allowed into Wembley. For any other flag or banner, permission may have to be sort.

Pubs in the Wembley area

The pubs and bars allocated to Town fans are: The Green Man, Blue Room, The Arch, Station 31 (Speakeasy), JJ Moons, Thirsty Eddie’s, Flannery’s, Masti, The Corner House (Mannions), The Liquor Station, The Copper Jug and Moore Spice.



Supporter Liaison Officer

Nathan Hosker will be available outside Wembley Stadium near the Bobby Moore Statue from noon until 2.30pm for any assistance you may require. He is also contactable on 07712127552 (this is Nathan's contact number for the Play-Off final only) during these hours only.
