Huddersfield Town’s Under-23s side travels to Nottingham Forest on Monday 10 April in the Professional Development League.

Frankie Bunn’s youngsters go into the game, which kicks off at 2pm at Alfreton Town’s Impact Arena Stadium, off the back of a 3-2 win against Colchester United on Thursday.

Goals from Jordan Williams, Danny Kane and Lewis O’Brien earned the young Terriers all three points. You can watch highlights from that match below courtesy of HTTV.

When the two sides faced earlier this season, Huddersfield Town’s Under-23s beat Nottingham Forest 1-0 at PPG Canalside, with Regan Booty scoring the only goal of the game.

The young Terriers currently sit fifth in the Professional Development League North with 38 points from 25 games, just four points off second placed Hull City with three games remaining.

Monday’s opponent, Nottingham Forest currently sits eighth in the table, six points behind Frankie Bunn’s side.

Managed by Jack Lester, Forest come into the game off the back of a 1-0 defeat to Coventry City and has won two games in its last six matches.

As always, the top two sides from the northern table will qualify for the end-of-season Professional Development League Play-Offs against the equivalent southern table sides to crown the overall PDL champion.
