U18s AND U23s IN ACTION THIS WEEKEND

Frankie Bunn's youngsters faces Liverpool FC on Sunday

-    Both Under-23s and Under-18s are in action this weekend
-    Leigh Bromby’s Under-18s travels to Bolton on Saturday
-    Frankie Bunn’s Under-23s hosts Liverpool on Sunday

Huddersfield Town’s Under-18s and Under-23s are both in action this weekend in the Professional Development League and Premier League Cup respectively.



Town’s youngsters will look to get back to winning ways in the Professional Development League match against Bolton, which kicks-off at 11am.

Huddersfield Town’s Under-18s will be looking to bounce back from its 2-0 defeat away to Barnsley two weeks ago. Highlights of the game are available below courtesy of HTTV.



Leigh Bromby’s youngsters currently sits fourth in the PDL with 32 points from 20 games, just six points off the top two places.

This weekend’s opponent, Bolton Wanderers, is just one place behind the young Terriers on the same amount of points.

Wanderers will also be looking to respond from a run of recent defeats on Saturday after being beaten by Birmingham City and Barnsley over the last couple of weeks.



The following day, Frankie Bunn’s Under-23s side hosts Liverpool FC at Curzon Ashton's Tameside Stadium in a Premier League Cup fixture.

The game kicks off at 2pm on Sunday 12 February at the Tameside Stadium, the home of Curzon Ashton (Tameside Stadium, Richmond St, Ashton-under-Lyne OL7 9HG) and fans can attend the match for £4 for adults and £2 for concessions.

Bunn’s Under-23s will go into the game with confidence after a 2-1 win over Crewe Alexandra last weekend. You can watch highlights via HTTV below!



The young Terriers will be looking to get their third victory of the cup competition, with the last win coming away to West Bromwich Albion after a stunning strike from Sam Warde earned Frankie Bunn’s side all three points.

Huddersfield Town’s U23s opponents on Sunday, Liverpool FC, go into the game unbeaten in all competitions since 16 January when it was beaten by Manchester United.

The Reds currently sits top of the U23 Premier League table with 10 points from four games. When the sides previously met at Tranmere Rovers’ Prenton Park earlier this season, Town’s young side was beaten 3-0.
