Huddersfield Town’s Under-18s were beaten 4-2 Bolton Wanderers at Lostock Park in the Professional Development League after a superb comeback from the home side.

After an even opening Leigh Bromby’s youngsters took the lead through Dominic Tear. In the 22nd minute the winger put a good effort past the Bolton ‘keeper.

Just eight minutes later it was 2-0. Matty Daly doubled the youngsters’ lead just before the break.

However, the home side come out in the second half well and pulled one back in the 55th minute through Alex Samizadeh.

Two goals in two minutes then gave Bolton the lead. First Navarro equalised in the 65th minute before Samizadeh scored his second of the afternoon to give them home side the lead.

Just minutes before the final whistle, the home side’s remarkable comeback was complete. Samizadeh completed his hat-trick and earned Nicky Spooners young Wanderers three points.
