Under-18s first defeat of the season

- Town Under-18s beaten by Sheffield United
- Late goal earned Sheffield United the win
- Tony Carss' side earn four points from three games

Huddersfield Town’s Under-18s were beaten 1-0 by top of the table Sheffield United, losing their first game of the Under-18s Professional Development League season.

In torrential rain both sides battled well in the first half but were unable to break the deadlock.

In the 84 minute Under-16 defender Mason O’Malley replaced Harry Clibbens before the home side took the lead in the 91st minute.

The late winner caused Tony Carss’ side to lose their first game of the season meaning they’ve won four points from their opening three matches.
