Huddersfield Town’s Development Squad travels to South Wales side on Monday 3 April 2017 to face Cardiff City in the Professional Development League.

The match will take place at the Bluebirds home ground, the Cardiff City Stadium (Leckwith Rd, Cardiff CF11 8AZ) in a 7pm kick-off; the game is free to attend for Town supporters.

The young Terriers go into the PDL match in good form, coming off the back of a 4-1 win over Ipswich Town last week. You can watch highlights of the win below courtesy of HTTV.

Frankie Bunn’s youngsters are unbeaten in the PDL North since 29 January, winning two of their last four matches. Town’s Under-23s side currently sits seventh in the league with 32 points from 23 games.

Monday night’s opponent, Cardiff City, currently sits third in the Professional Development League South table, just two points off the top two.

However, the Welsh side comes into the match with just one win in its last six matches, losing half of them. In its last outing the young side drew 1-1 with Sheffield United.

As always, the top two sides from the northern table will qualify for the end-of-season Professional Development League Play-Offs against the equivalent southern table sides to crown the overall PDL champion.

If you can’t get to the match then you can keep up-to-date with the score-line via Town’s Twitter account, @htafcAcademy.
