Huddersfield Town’s Under-18s side will travel down to West London for its final Professional Development game of the season against QPR on Saturday 8 April 2017.

Leigh Bromby’s youngsters will look to end their season on a high and put a stop to a run of three consecutive weeks in the match that kicks off at 10.30am at Harlington.

In the U18s final home game of the season at the Club’s PPG Canalside Training Ground, the young side lost 2-0 against Crystal Palace. You can watch highlights below courtesy of HTTV.

Huddersfield Town’s Under-18s side currently sits in sixth place in the Professional Development League North with 39 points from 27 games.

A win over the R’s could help Bromby’s side to a fifth placed finish ahead of next season, with the young Terriers currently nine points off second placed Sheffield Wednesday.

Saturday’s opponent, QPR, sits bottom of the Under-18 Professional Development League South table with just 17 points from 27 games.

Led by fan favourite Paul Furlong, the young R’s have only won four games this season; the last win in the league was at the start of December with a 2-1 win over Millwall. Last time out, QPR was beaten 6-1 away at Nottingham Forest.

The last time the two sides met was on the opening day of the 2015/16 season. Town’s youngsters battled to a 3-2 victory; the Young Terriers went 3-0 up after goals from Akeel Francis, Jack Boyle and Cedwyn Scott.

Following this final round of Professional Development League fixtures, the top two teams from the northern table will face their southern equivalents in the end of season Play-Offs to determine an overall Under-18 Professional Development League champion at the end of the regular season.
