TILLY THE TERRIER MAKES HER DEBUT

25 August 2016

Terry and Tilly will be at every home match

- Tilly the Terrier made her debut against Barnsley
- Terry and Tilly will be at all home matches
- Thanks to Pulse 1 for name competition

Tilly the Terrier made her debut at the John Smith’s Stadium last weekend after being named by Huddersfield Town supporters.

Terry the Terrier’s new girlfriend ‘Tilly’ was given her new name at half-time during Town’s 2-1 win over Barnsley after a name was selected by a team of judges.

Huddersfield Town would like to thank Pulse 1 for running the competition and engaging Terriers supporters with the new mascot.

Tilly, sponsored by Thornhill Dental, will be around at all Huddersfield Town home matches to meet the children in all the family areas of the ground.

Young supporters will now be able to see Tilly and Terry at the games adding to the pre-match and half-time excitement.

Lots of children were after pictures with the new Huddersfield Town mascot against Barnsley and if your child missed out don’t worry as she will be here this Saturday against Wolves.

Commercial Director, Sean Jarvis said:

“We would like to thank Pulse1 for running the competition and are delighted with the name the judges have selected for our new mascot.

“It was clear to see before the game and at half-time that the children were really excited to meet Tilly and to have their picture with her.

“By having both Terry and Tilly at home matches we hope that all children will get to meet either one of them at some point during our games.”
