‘TERRIERS ON TOUR’ MEMBERSHIP AMENDED

15 July 2016

Priorities altered alongside new scheme

- 'Terriers on Tour' feedback received from fans
- Priorities altered for away tickets
- Comment from CEO Julian Winter

After feedback from supporters following the launch of the ‘Terriers on Tour’ membership scheme, Huddersfield Town has amended the away ticket prioritisation for the upcoming 2016/17 season.

Town Season Card Holders can still gain top priority on away match tickets by becoming a ‘Terrier on Tour’ member in the 2016/17 season for just £20 for adults and £10 for juniors.

The membership will allow fans to become Priority 1 for all away league match tickets, get £5 off one 2016/17 PUMA away shirt and get a £1 discount off all official Huddersfield Town away travel tickets, as well as a ‘Terriers on Tour’ membership card.

However, B & W Foundation Members and Patrons who are also Season Card Holders will ALSO be given top priority status on in-demand away match tickets too.

For clarity, Season Card holders who are also B & W Foundation Members or Patrons do not have to pay the additional £20 to be a ‘Terriers on Tour’ member.

The new, amended priority for purchasing away tickets next season will be as follows:

1.       Terriers on Tour Members AND B & W Foundation Members/Patrons who are also Season Card Holders
2.       Season Card Holders
3.       B & W Foundation Members and Patrons
4.       General Sale

‘Terriers on Tour’ memberships will be available to buy from the Ticket Office and online HERE from Monday 18 July.

Huddersfield Town Chief Executive Julian Winter explained:

“We’ve discussed the feedback that the Club received on social media and on the phone yesterday following the launch of ‘Terriers on Tour’ and have acted quickly to alter the prioritisation.

“The clear message was that Season Card holders who are also Blue & White Foundation members or Patrons should have top priority on tickets, so they are now in category 1 prioritisation alongside ‘Terriers on Tour’ members.

“We still believe there is a need for a bespoke away membership scheme that is cheaper for fans who see priority on away tickets as something they want, without the extra added benefits of being a BWF member or a Patron.

“However, we acknowledge that this change adds balance to the scheme by rewarding fans who are already BWF members or Patrons.”
