Total beats previous record in Centenary season

17,522 Huddersfield Town supporters have bought their Season Card for #ATownLikeNoOther in the 2017/18 season!
The number is the latest club record to fall in an incredible year for the football club, eclipsing the 16,123 that were sold at £100 in the Centenary season of 2008/09.
Prices of £199 for adults, £79 for Under-18s and just £29 for Under-8s were set to be available to the first 17,000 fans, with the 15,000 existing Season Card holders given until 28 April to renew their seat.
Due to the high number of new supporters purchasing Season Cards – over 3,000 in the end – a total of 17,522 was reached by the close of the renewal deadline!
Huddersfield Town’s Commercial Director Sean Jarvis announced the news to a packed house at the Club’s 2017 Annual Awards ceremony at the John Smith’s Stadium on Sunday evening, with the figure met with applause by all 300 guests.
Now that the target has been reached, Season Card sales have been suspended.
Every 2017/18 Season Card holder will be sent a new card for use in the coming campaign; these are expected to be mailed to fans during July.
