Huddersfield Town’s table-topping Under-23 side is back in Professional Development League action on Monday afternoon when Yorkshire rival Sheffield United visits PPG Canalside.

The young Terriers, led by Senior Professional Development Coach Frankie Bunn, will host the Blades in a 2pm kick-off at Town’s training ground (509 Leeds Road, Huddersfield, HD2 1YJ).

Open between noon and 2pm, the kitchen offers a full range of freshly cooked meals ranging from Fish & Chips and ‘Pie of the Day’ to salads, sandwiches and everything between! The Terriers come into Monday’s game on the back of a great 2-0 victory at Crystal Palace, with Bunn’s team featuring three 16 year-olds against an Eagles side including Mathieu Flamini, Fraizer Campbell and Jordon Mutch. Watch highlights from the game below courtesy of HTTV!

That win sent Town to the top of the 10-team Professional Development League North, with 16 points accumulated from eight games.

Town now top of the 10 team Professional Development League North table with 16 points from eight games.

Monday’s opposition Sheffield United sits seventh in the same league with nine points from the same number of games. Managed by one-time Town Coach John Dungworth, they come into the game on the back of a 2-2 draw at Watford.
