80 mile ride from Hull to Huddersfield with P4P8 riders

Huddersfield Town and Yorkshire Air Ambulance have today launched the ‘Hull to Home’ bike ride making it possible for supporters to join the last leg of the Pedal for Pounds 8 bike ride on Saturday 6 May from Hull back to Huddersfield!
The 80 mile Hull to Home ride will see entrants meeting up with the P4P8 riders making their way back from the full ‘Wagner Way’ ride which starts four days prior on Tuesday 2 May.
The ride raises funds for the Club’s ‘Keep It Up’ campaign which benefits the lifesaving YAA charity as well as the HTAFC Academy, with 50p in the pound going to each cause.
Club Ambassador and P4P8 organiser Andy Booth commented:
“We are still amazed that we filled our ‘Wagner Way’ P4P8 within just one week of announcing the ride and the interest in it has been totally unprecedented.
“That is why we would like to offer you another chance to get involved in this year’s ride and give the opportunity to complete the last leg of the journey between Hull and Huddersfield.
“The 80 mile journey gives you a great chance to be involved in this year’s Pedal for Pounds ride, whilst also raising money for the ‘Keep It Up’ campaign.
“As always, thanks to all the volunteers and staff that are volunteering their time to make the ride possible – as well as everyone who came to the launch evening at PPG Canalside.”
The registration fee for the event is £40 which covers the official ride jersey, coach travel to Hull, bike transport to Hull, a sandwich, water and snacks during the ride as well as pie and peas on return to PPG Canalside on Saturday evening.
Entrants must get sponsored to take part in the event in aid of the ‘Keep It Up’ campaign with the minimum sponsorship amount per participant being £100.
