LOAN WATCH: BOYLE & BOJAJ START vs CELTIC

24 November 2016

Eight players all featuring for their loan clubs

- A review of Town’s out on loan players
- William Boyle & Flo Bojaj start against Celtic
- Academy graduates gaining valuable First Team experience

Town’s William Boyle and Flo Bojaj both featured against Scottish giants Celtic for loan club Kilmarnock during the last week as the Club’s eight loanees continue to play for their respective loan clubs.

Here’s a round-up of Town’s out-on-loan players and their activity on the pitch over the last 10 days.

Jason Davidson, FC Groningen

Left back Jason didn't add to his nine starts for Dutch top flight side Groningen at the weekend, as he was an unused substitute for the 2-1 home win over ADO Den Haag.

He'll be hoping to get on the pitch at Saturday's away game at PEC Zwolle.

Jordy Hiwula, Bradford City (pictured above)

Jordy now has five goals in 22 appearances for League 1 high-flyers Bradford City after two appearances during the last week.

Hiwula started a rare defeat for the Bantams at the weekend - a 3-0 reversal down at Southend United - before playing the final 13 minutes as a substitute in the 1-0 midweek home win over Northampton Town.

Bradford's next game is on Saturday, with a long trip to Tim Sherwood's new club Swindon Town.

Kyle Dempsey, Fleetwood Town

It's been a great week for Kyle, who played 90 minutes in each of the three Fleetwood Town wins.

His week actually started with 120 minutes in the 4-1 extra time FA Cup win at home to Southport, before another 90 minutes in Saturday's 2-1 home victory over struggling Chesterfield.

The final game came in midweek, with a comprehensive 3-0 League 1 victory at home to Shrewsbury Town. Kyle played another 90, playing a big role in setting up the opener.

The central midfield has now made 16 appearances for the Cod Army ahead of Saturday's game at AFC Wimbledon.

William Boyle, Kilmarnock

Centre back William made his first Killie appearance in almost three months last Friday, starting and playing the full 90 minutes in a 1-0 home defeat to runaway league leaders Celtic.

That's eight Kilmarnock appearances in total for the Academy graduate, who will be hoping to play again in Kilmarnock's next game - at home to Dundee on 3 December.

Flo Bojaj, Kilmarnock

Like his fellow Town loanee Boyle, striker Flo also started the game against Celtic last Friday. It was actually his league debut for his loan club after three previous Scottish Cup appearances.

Bojaj didn't score during his hour on the pitch, but he was as close as any Kilmarnock player; heading one first half chance just wide of target.

Luke Coddington, Wrexham AFC

Goalkeeper Luke's second start for the Red Dragons came at the weekend in a 1-1 Vanarama National League draw at Torquay United.

He could feature again when the Welsh side hosts Forest Green Rovers this weekend.

Tadhg Ryan, Radcliffe Borough

Young Irish custodian Tadhg missed a heavy midweek defeat at Buxton through injury, but returned to make his fifth Radcliffe Borough appearance in a 3-1 home defeat to Colne in midweek.

Tadhg will be hoping for a sixth appearance - and second clean sheet - when his loan club travels to Lancaster City in the Evo-Stik League this weekend.

Fraser Horsfall, Trafford FC

Centre back Fraser's impressive record at Evo-Stik League side Trafford FC continued last weekend; he played a full 90 minutes during a 6-0 away win at Ossett Albion. That was Fraser's fifth start for his loan club, during which time the team has kept three clean sheets.

Horsfall's next chance at game time comes on Saturday via a league trip to Bamber Bridge.
