Mark Hudson returns in defence for Town

-    David Wagner names side for Liverpool FC friendly
-    Mark Hudson returns to starting line-up
-    Last Town friendly before Austria training camp

David Wagner has named his starting line-up for Huddersfield Town’s Shankly Trophy match against Liverpool FC for a game that commemorates one of football’s legends, Bill Shankly.

In his press conference yesterday, Town’s Head Coach said he expected the majority of his squad to get some minutes in the Terriers last friendly before they travel to Austria.

Mark Hudson has returned from his knock and starts in defence alongside Town record signing Christopher Schindler.

The only First Team players missing for Town in tonight’s game are Nahki Wells (knee), Ivan Paurević (illness), Kasey Palmer (muscle). However, they will all travel with the squad to Austria on Friday.

Liverpool loanee Danny Ward will also join up with the Town squad in Austria. While youngsters Rekeil Pyke, Jordan Williams and Regan Booty are all on the bench tonight.
