Huddersfield Town has today completed the signing of 18 year-old free agent Deshane Dalling, who will join the Club’s Development Squad.

The attacking midfielder, who plays off the right side, has signed a professional contract that runs until 30 June 2018.

Deshane signs after impressing during a trial period at the Club, during which time he played in the Under-23s’ 2-1 Professional Development League win over Hull City at PPG Canalside on 18 December 2016.

Huddersfield Town Academy Manager Steve Weaver commented:

“Deshane impressed during his trial period at the Club. He’s an exciting player who looks to attack opposition defenders, commit them, and make things happen in the final third.

“He obviously has a talent and it’s an exciting thought that he’s never been at a professional club. We’re looking forward to seeing him improve once he settles into full-time training under the guidance of Senior Professional Development Coach Frankie Bunn.”

Deshane has previously played on a non-contract basis for Ryman Isthmian Football League side Staines Town. He was part of the Club’s Under-18 side that won the Youth League and the Middlesex FA's Lucas Fettes Youth Cup - scoring twice in the final - before breaking into the First Team this season, scoring twice.

You can welcome Deshane to Huddersfield Town on Twitter; he’s @Droseupnext98.
