Goalkeeper could face Moldova in September

- Danny Ward receives call-up to Wales squad
- Goalkeeper set to face Moldova in World Cup qualifier
- Liverpool loanee already has three senior caps

Huddersfield Town goalkeeper Danny Ward has been called up to the latest Wales squad for an upcoming World Cup qualifier.

Chris Coleman’s squad will host Moldova in the opening game of the 2018 FIFA World Cup preliminary qualifying stage.

Ward and his teammates will play the game at the Cardiff City Stadium on Monday 5 September 2016; 7.45pm kick-off.

With the Sky Bet Championship taking an international break at this time, Danny will have time to re-join the Terriers ahead of the game at Leeds United on 10 September.

Danny is the second Town player to receive international summons for this period, following on from Aaron Mooy’s call-up to the Australia squad.
