Huddersfield Town’s players were back on the training pitch in Austria on Thursday morning ahead of Friday evening’s final friendly of pre-season against Bundesliga side FC Ingolstadt.

The players made the short coach journey from the base in Fügen to the pitch in Jenbach to work on fitness, possession, tactics and shooting under the watchful eye of Head Coach David Wagner, Assistant Head Coach Christoph Bühler and First Team Coach Andrew Hughes.

Every player worked on the grass apart from midfielder Philip Billing (foot) and attacker Harry Bunn (hamstring), who returned to England on Wednesday to get scans on the injuries they sustained in Tuesday’s draw against SV Werder Bremen.

There were welcome returns to training for Chelsea loanee Kasey Palmer and reigning Player of the Year Nahki Wells.

Town’s second game in Austria will take place against Bundesliga club FC Ingolstadt on Friday 29 July. The game will kick-off at 6.30pm local time (5.30pm in the UK) at Silberstadt Arena Schwaz, Paulinumweg 5, 6130 Schwaz.
