Town midfielder Jack Rudoni said the side were frustrated losing their first game in three, and said there was more to come from him individually after creating his fourth goal of the season so far.

Speaking to HTTV at full-time, the young midfielder said:

“It was very disappointing.

“We back ourselves when we go ahead because that’s part of our game now, we stay strong and we stay compact so we don’t concede.

“In the situation we’re in, we can’t be conceding twice after going ahead.

“Given how we’ve played in our last two games, the expectations are putting on ourselves means we’re expecting a win and a clean sheet.”

Having started the game further forward out wide, Rudoni tucked back into a more central midfield position once captain Jonathan Hogg was forced off. Not the first time he’s played multiple positions this season, Jack said that’s a natural part of his game.

“It comes quite naturally” he explained.

“I watch a lot of football and as I grow and play more games, you learn different positions.

“But I do feel like it’s a trait I do have, I can fill in when needed to in other positions and I can switch my mentality and game understanding to the position I’m in and help out the team as much as I can.”
