Raise money for Town Foundation on Wear Blue and White Day
- Town’s Foundation announces annual Wear Blue and White Day

- Money raised helps fund the Foundation’s Breakfast Clubs
Huddersfield Town Foundation has urged Town fans to help them turn Kirklees the colour of Huddersfield Town on their newly named Wear Blue and White Day on Friday 26 January.
The Foundation’s annual fundraiser has received a little makeover and is seeking the help of Town fans in the Kirklees area to help them raise much-needed funds for their Breakfast Clubs, which costs over £140,000 a year to run.
The Breakfast Clubs, which have been in operation since 2012, give every child in need the best possible start to a day of learning. Operating across over 41 schools since its inception, the Foundation has recently surpassed two-and-a-half million meals served and is now on a mission to reach five million.
So how can you get involved with Wear Blue and White Day? Well, it’s simple all you need to do is do an activity associated with blue and white and donate to their cause.
Here are some suggestions from the Foundation on how you can help turn Kirklees Blue and White:
- Host a blue and white-themed bake sale and donate the profits
- Donate a percentage of blue and white products sold in your shop
- Wear odds socks: one blue sock and the other being a white one
- Complete a sponsored activity in blue and white, i.e., run, cycle or a challenge
- Have a blue-and-white non-uniform day at your school
- Paint your face blue and white
Whatever your suggestion, the whackier the better, as long as it involves the famous colours of Town and donations, you can get involved.
By supporting the cause, you can feel assured knowing that your creativity and generosity has helped someone facing destitution.
