- Comments from Academy Manager Emyr Humphreys

B Team forward Conor Falls has signed a new contract at Huddersfield Town!

The 18-year-old has put pen-to-paper on a contract that runs until the summer of 2025, with the Club having the option of a further year’s extension.

Conor joined the Academy from NIFL Premiership side Glentoran in the summer of 2020.

The Northern Irishman had an impressive maiden season, making 33 appearances for George Danaher’s Under-17 side, whilst also making 10 appearances for Town’s Under-19 side. Not only that, but he bagged 26 goals in the process, including four against Manchester United!

The 2021/22 season saw Falls score five goals in 15 appearances, head out on his first loan to Stalybridge Celtic, where he scored once in five appearances, and gain further caps for Northern Ireland’s Under-19s.

Academy Manager Emyr Humphreys commented:

“This new contract is a reward for Conor’s hard work and dedication.

“Over the last 12 months we have put a real focus on the physical side of Conor’s game and he’s thrown himself into it through his gym work, and on the pitch work too.

“We think Conor has huge potential, and the staff work hard with him every day to ensure we see that bear fruit on the pitch as he continues within our programme.”
