GUTHRIE RETURNS TO THE TERRIERS
3 December 2014
18 year-old shot stopper Sam Guthrie has returned to Huddersfield Town after the end of his one month loan at Salford City.
The young goalkeeper made five starts for the Evo-Stik Northern Premier First Division club, which is part owned by the famous ‘Class of ’92’, keeping one clean sheet and helping to win a Cup penalty shootout in the process.
Guthrie first joined ‘The Yorkshire Club’ aged 16, having been given a scholarship following an impressive trial period from Gateshead College’s Academy of Sport.
