Terriers host latest football craze
Huddersfield Town’s Football in the Community team are hosting a new form of the beautiful game each week - ‘Walking Football’!
This new concept of the game is fun for all ages but aimed primarily to help seniors enjoy football and keep active.
Bury piloted the idea earlier last year and have received excellent feedback from participants – click HERE to a view a video the BBC produced about ‘Walking Football’.
Sessions of Town’s ‘Walking Football’ take place every Tuesday and Thursday at the Zone on St Andrews Road, Huddersfield. Club Ambassador Andy Booth is a regular attendee, so why not get down and give it a try?
Costing £3 per one hour session and starting from 11am, participants will be able to enjoy a free tea or coffee afterwards and socialise with fellow footballers!
You don’t have to book; all you have to do is turn up on Tuesday!
