Find out how you can get involved!

The Pedal for Pounds 4 bike ride was launched at a packed Canalside on Friday 7 December, with over 120 cyclists turning out to hear the Club’s plans for the latest marathon bike ride in aid of the ‘Keep It Up’ campaign.

Chairman Dean Hoyle took to the stage and announced his target to get 500 fans taking part this season - a statement which was met with a round of applause from the cyclists, some of whom signed up straight away!

Paul Gowland, Head of Fundraising at Yorkshire Air Ambulance spoke about the difference the funds raised by Town fans over the past three years have made to the charity- and thanked everyone who had donated.

The crowd then watched a short presentation on the destination of the ride, where the Tour of Yorkshire was revealed!

P4P4: The Tour of Yorkshire will see fans taking to the roads for the fourth consecutive year, pedalling from Huddersfield, to Hull, to Scarborough, to Harrogate and back to Huddersfield in time for Town’s final home fixture v Barnsley on Saturday 4 May 2013.

The Club’s aim is to reach £1 million milestone for the ‘Keep It Up’ campaign, with over £720,000 raised so far thanks to the generosity of Town fans.
